New Study Reveals Most Contaminated Surfaces in Hotel Rooms

The next time you’re staying in a hotel and you want to watch the TV, you might want to think twice before you reach for the TV remote.

A recent study conducted by three United States universities which tested the cleanliness of hotel rooms in Texas (University of Houston), Indiana (Purdue University) and South Carolina (University of South ) has been released.

The aim of the study was to find what the most contaminated areas and objects in hotel rooms were.

Contaminated Hotel Room?

TV remote controls were right at the top of the list, alongside the switches for bedside lamps.
